In April, we worked with Quilted again to design a new interface for Mukurtu, a free and open source platform for managing and sharing digital heritage, built especially for indigenous communities, libraries and archives. The design had to be lightweight and minimal to highlight the cultural objects that are its content, and it uses icons and as little text as possible to be useful to people of various educational backgrounds.
